Thousands of developers are using Cube to build analytics applications and we want to help them be successful. That’s why we’re looking for an infrastructure engineer to join our Cube.js Core team to build state-of-the-art analytics data access technology.
● Understanding of major cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
● Experience using IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi or Ansible.
● Strong knowledge of Kubernetes.
● Good communication skills.
● Fluent English.
● Previous startup experience or interest in working in a small fast-moving company.
● Experience with Pulumi
● Experience writing code in Rust
● Experience in data engineering, building analytics applications, or OLAP.
Some of the problems you’ll be working on:
Cube Cloud PaaS Infrastructure. Cube Cloud provides a platform as a service infrastructure to deploy Cube applications in production capacity at scale. Being based on AWS, GCP, Azure and other cloud providers it’s a sophisticated cloud in cloud implementation with a lot of various infrastructure challenges.
Dev infrastructure. As the team at Cube Dev grows, developer productivity becomes one of the most critical factors of success. As an infrastructure engineer, you’ll be responsible for improving our CI/CD pipeline, maintaining different staging environments, and ensuring nothing stay in the way of a high-quality product being delivered to Cube Dev customers.
Cube Cloud hybrid and self-hosted deployments. While PaaS is the main delivery option for Cube Cloud, larger enterprise clients can choose to run our product partially or fully inside their cloud environments. Supporting all three options simultaneously bring a lot of unique infrastructure challenges, and you’ll be working on solving them as part of the Cube Cloud team.
This is a remote position. Any location is ok, as long as we can expect that person to be online till 1 pm PT. We can pay for your desk at the co-working space you choose to work from. Down the road, we offer an optional relocation to our HQ in San Francisco, California with visa (H1-B or O-1) sponsorship. We offer stock options in our US company.
